I just became friends with this guy about 3 weeks ago. We started hanging out a lot. He and some of his friends would come over to my apartment and we'd just chill and stuff. i was sure he liked me, after all we would both really flirt with each other.
Recently (past 3 nights) I've been hanging out with just him in his apartment watching TV at night. (we are both in preseason for soccer so that's about the only free time we have.) last night we were sitting on his couch laying on opposite sides so my ffet were by hi chest and his feet were by mine when all the sudden he takes them and gives me a foot massage . Keep in ming I'm a soccer player and my feet are gross.
But to my suprise he hasnt tried to kiss me or anything...WHY??

Maybe he's not ready and maybe it's not the right time. Like you said it has only been 3 weeks. Is he shy at all. He seems like a good guy :) And by the way...he did make the first move by giving you the foot massage when he already knew your feet would be gross because you play soccer. Maybe he wants to take things slow or possibly he's waiting for you to to give him a kiss. Flirting is one thing, but you don't know for sure if he likes you...now is the time to find out. Find out what his feelings are and let him know what yours are...talking things through comes before putting the moves on someone. I think you'll do just fine though, seems like he does like you.

He likes you. He's probably the type that won't make a move unless you send back signals. I was always like this. If a girl showed little interest in me I did nothing. If I got some vibes I would make the move. Flirting means very little.

It's only been 3 weeks...what do you want? Relationships are not instamatic. You don't just meet a guy, add water, and have an instant relationship. It takes time to build trust, get to know each other, date a bit, spend time together, etc.

I agree that this was the perfect time to make a move but, it sounds like he is respecting you and waiting for you to make the first move. Once you give the ok, I'm sure he'll want to be all over you!

You guys are both soccer players. He knows what it means to have painful, nasty feet. He was making a move on you...
Guys don't rub your feet without meaning it. He's there...he made the first move. He might just be waiting for you to make the next move...

Sounds like confidence problem. He is probably afraid of rejection is some form. Some guys need a "gentle nudge" by the girl by her makinga move or encouraging one.

Chill and take your time. Maybe he is truly interested in you and not how fast he can try to jump your bones.

ummm, maybe he's just respectful. besides--giving you a foot massage WAS a move. you don't do that for just a "friend" you've only known a few weeks.
