Intercourse can mean more than sexual. There is social intercourse for example which is an exchange of words between people. Etiquette could apply here. Does that help?

Not really, but I remember being advised not to wipe male member off on a ladies bedroom curtains. Maybe that`s one of the rules of intercourse etiquette.

I never heard of it but I can only put two and two together and create a definition. I guess the do's and dont's of sexual intercourse. Then it comes down to is it your girlfriend, your wife, or a casual sex partener. Many things will come into play.
