head hurt for a few days, but that may have just been my imagination. I want to know if it is possible that my brain could have been permenantly damaged?

possibility is high esp. prolong headache
-could lead to clot formation in the brain (which is not good)
-i know a person with almost the same case and after a few years, he had tumors in the brain, thankfully it was benign
- go to the doctor early just to be sure

If you were knocked unconcious by the blow, you could have some brain damage, but it probably wouldn't be permanent unless there was also a skull fracture, but that doesn't guarantee permanent brain damage either.

My son got hit in the face with a baseball bat when he was 7 and took over 100 stitches to close the wound around his eye. He also had fractures of the sinus and occipital bones and is just fine now at the age of 24...

Baseball players get beaned a lot with no lasting disabilities.

Probably not. It was probably bruising, or something, but if it's stopped hurting then you're ok.
