my girlfriend has a lot of friends that are guys and when she see's them she hugs them.. also whenever my best friend leaves to go to class or whatever he always asks my girlfriend for a hug. is this bad or anything to worry about?

It's not a problem. If she hugs a guy that doesn't know she's taken, he might think she's flirting. But I know a lot of girls who like to hug all their friends, regardless of gender.

Hugs are bull ****. If she is with you and a guy knows that and asks her for a hug that's just disrespect. Don't ******* hug a girl in front of her boyfriend. I don't do that. It's insulting. People say oh just a hug. But dude... How is a hug necessary.
And then some free love hippie up there said its a good way to connect? No man. You don't need to hug anyone to connect. On occasion it's okay. But if it's casual and someone sees them everyday why the **** do they need a hug that's the dumbest thing. There is something intimate and sexual about all of that.
Don't get me wrong. It's not a huge deal at all. But come on... It's not necessary. And don't let her do it in front of you.
Just my opinion. Don't act all buddy buddy with my girlfriend when she's here holding my hand ******.

Showing affection between friends (male or female) is a lovely gesture and for me, there needs to be more of it in this day and age of worrying about what someone else may think. Hugging friends is something wonderful and a genuine way to share a connection with someone.
For you, perhaps you have already begun to question this relationship on a subconscious level and this is manifesting itself in your questioning your Girlfriend's actions. Maybe not but you certainly do not want to cause any unnecessary tension or cause your Girlfriend to feel defensive and need to justify her behaviour. She might be quite taken aback at what you are suggesting.
However, if your gut tells you there is something more to her hugging, then yes follow this through and be honest about how you feel. Not in an aggressive manner but rather direct and quietly firm.
PS: My instinct says you and she will be fine!

You cannot expect your girlfriend to go through life and never hug another guy. As long as it's innocent to her, it's innocent. However I would be wary about guys who make it a point to get a hug from her all the time. Did you tell her you feel this way about that particular guy? God bless.

Comming from a girl, her hugging other guys is fine. I hug alot of my friend, including guy friends but I don't like them as more then a friend. As for your best friend asking for a hug, thtat might be something to worry about talk to him about it.

It's probably nothing to think about. Some girls just love to give and get hugs. If you hug her she'll hug you back.

but if u have a problem with it try to ask her really nicely not to hug so many guys,she should understand.
and u shud totally ask ur best friend to quit it cuz thats not good.

hugging is fine.. i hug all my guy friends, and tell most of them that i love em... hell i even kiss some of my guy friends, i dont think there is nothing wrong with it, cuz its not done in a sexual way (most of the time, lol)

if they were previously dating then maybe but it would be different if they known each other there whole life and has been giving friendly hugs b4 u came around so no it shouldnt be a big prob
