I have the same problem. Ijust have to remind my self to do it. After a few weeks you will not want to miss going out for a walk. Start short distances and build up to longer.

You must make it fun. Go to i-tunes, download some great music, or better yet, a podcast about something you are interested in. I buy a new release of some artist I love and plan a run/walk that is as long as the recording (usually at least an hour). It helps to give your brain something else to think about besides the fact that you are exercising. Soon you will feel so much better- that exercise will be a permanent part of your life, a gift to your body, not a boring task that takes too long. I also learned basic French while walking!

First of all, you won't be tired every day if you exercise and walking is great exercise if you do a good pace....now, how do you get yourself to start walking - you put one foot in front of the other, aim towards the door, open door, go outside, close door and start! It really is easy. And to be serious, trust me you'll feel better and also thinking about it is always worse than doing it.
I walk 5-6 miles every day seven days a week in addition to biking 10 miles every day seven days a week and have been doing so for 8 years....57 pounds of me are gone...I'm 5'7 and 119. You'll get to the point that walking everyday is just a part of your daily routine - and no excuses...set aside the time and go. Good luck and have fun - !

Once you start getting in shape you'll have more energy. Try other forms of exercise like aerobics or biking and may be split it up into 3-10 minute sessions until you feel you can go for the whole 30 . The results are the same. But please don't quit.

Sometimes you just have to force yourself to do it. Once you get going and your adrenalin is flowing, its a lot easier. It may sound silly, but I use a forearm or hand exerciser, and squeeze that thing about 40 times in each hand and it gets my adrenaline flowing.
