don't wear ankle weights, they're not recommneded by coaches they mess up your ankles. they break out your balance. if you want to wear weight, wear a vest with weights, they distribute the weight more evenlly.

Absolutely not. Never wear ankle weights while running. They do not improve your speed and most likely will cause an injury. You can lift weights, do plyometric exercises, run stairs and hills, but never train with ankle weights.

Yes. Using ankle weights do pay off in stamina. Since it gives you the strenght to endure the pain. They also give you speed because when you run without them it takes a certain time to complete a lap and with the weight it takes more time completing the lap but it pushes your strenght and agility when you run without them. Just be careful when you use it.

Damnit no no no! never use those blasted leg killers! keep it up and by the time you're a senior and you'll be in a freaking wheelchair. the truth is that ankle weights are bad on your knees long term. you have made a very stupid decision.

Yes, but don't use them too much. They can mess up your knees and ankles if you over use them. The best thing you can do is run bleachers or any running uphill.
