- Doing the lotto refers to certain Broadway shows which have a drawing for front row seats for a low price. About 2 hours before the show starts, you go to the box office and put your name in and if they draw your name you get either one or two tickets for about $25 each.

You can see the different lotto/discount tickets here:

With your age range, I would recommend: Legally Blonde, Wicked, Lion King, Spelling Bee, Avenue Q, Grease and Rent . Try and avoid the big old shows like Les Miz, Chorus Line etc. because they might seem a little boring.

All the shows and their information can be found here:

Almost all theaters have handicapped access. You can call ahead to make sure they will provide you seats near the wheelchair area so that you can all sit together.

Enjoy!

Most theaters do have wheelchair access. The least expensive tickets are purchased at the tickets booth in times square, you rarely know which show tickets are available when you go to the tickets booth so it is kinda of like hitting the lotto when you get tickets for a show that you really want to see. There are also off bdwy, and off off bdwy which has some good shows. Try googling for Time out magazine and see what you can find. Enjoy.Any more questions just post them and you'll get some good answers.

Lotto is a multi state lottery that you buy tickets for to see if you win- don't bother!
You all would probably enjoy Mama Mia- a musical written around the songs of the music group Abba. It's too involved to describe, but it has a lot of young people in it and it's loads of fun. I've seen it twice and love it.
