A true Christian would hate the sin and love the sinner just as God does.

No, because sinning isn't strictly a Christian thing. Take a look at the devout Muslim view on sinning, for example. Now there's some sin-hating for you.

While real Christians do hate sin, I am not sure I would agree they are the only ones. Anyone who has suffered on account of a sinful action probably feels negatively toward that action whether it is recognized as hatred of sin or not.

Every religion claims to hate sin, but that is for the followers. The religious leaders have a different set of standards that they don;t want to talk about.

Indeed, God does hate sin! But, as a Christian, I know that I am still a very sinful person and the only way for me to "overcome" my sins, is through Him. He gives me the strength to be able to "turn away" from the things I know are not pleasing to HIM. Most people would call this repenting of my sins. I cannot! Why? It takes His strength to overcome that which is sinful. Yes, I can remain faithful to this "repentance" but, in all honesty....only because He loves me through the temptations.

Yes, sin is distasteful to me but, so are my words and actions at times! I am a SINNER saved by GRACE! I fail a lot! HE picks me up! When I get filthy, with sin, He pricks my heart and leads me back on the road I never meant to stray from!

So, all glory goes to the one who is faithful, no matter...my God, in whom I trust...the Lord Jesus Christ. My redeemer and deliverer! One day, my lawyer before God!

No. You would be right if you said that all real Christians trust God.

Haven't you met any Christians who sinned?

I would guess that any evil will be hated by anyone. Being a real Christian is not a prequalifier for having emotions or a sense of right and wrong.

I think so , the Bible says"the backslider shall be filled with his own ways" saying, eventually he'll be sick of what he's doing,(his sin).

some people call them selves Christans, & they lead a pretty decent life, never trusting Jesus as payment for their sin. But they will not have the love of Christ in their heart to see how pure God is.

I'm not too keen on the idea that God is capable of hatred, but it is certainly the sin, and not the sinner, that is condemned.

All sinners are capable of being forgiven.

Also, "real" christians don't actually practice the religion that Jesus spoke of. They practice a religion about Jesus, not OF Jesus.
