I have learned over the course of several years as a born again believer, that living for Christ is the most amazing life. Even if there were no heaven or hell , and this was all there was, I would still live for Him.- but I am SO glad that i am going to heaven.

Not really. I'm a Christian, but the concept of divine punishment is hardly the guiding force in my life. If I found out that hell weren't real, it's not as if I'd use that as a license to suddenly become a serial killer. To me, morals and religion are two different issues. Many non-Christian and non-religious people lead decent, moral lives. So if the details of my religion were to change overnight, it doesn't necessarily mean that my morality would, too.

No rebellious babylon parties for me, if that's what you mean---but I know that's not my thing anyway; too exhausting.
Personal hell (disintegration, alienation from truest self, or from origin, or the good, something like that)--who hasn't been there in one form or another-- isn't any fun either, and doesn't wait till death.
If everyone knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Hell wasn't real, would people still try to raise it?

I think the question should be if you found out there really is a hell would you change your life.
I believe that if people really believed there was a hell, there would be allot more coming to God to be saved from this place of torment awaiting all who die in their sins.

No. I live my life as the saying goes "do unto others as you want done unto you." I would always live by that creed. We are all born with a sense of morality that I believe is our driving force to being a good and decent person. I do not need the fear of Hell to make me a better person. In fact, fear of Hell is, in my mind, the wrong reason to be good. We should be good to others because we want others to be good to us.

Hell isn't real and nobody needs to change the way they live -- not unless they want to, that is.

People's concept of hell isnt real.... WE can only experience hell here on earth.. Depression, saddness and dysfunction is our own personal hell..one that we create..something we expeience while here on earth..ITs not eternal damnation of the afterlife

I live the way I do in honor of God - no matter what any small minded atheist says - not in fear of hell.

No. I would be really happy if it didn't, as long as Heaven and the Lord still did. But I wouldn't go out and start killing or robbing. But I bet there are alot who would, sadly
