There's something deceiving about that avatar... I don't know what...
Anyway. If it made the brain incapable of faith-based thinking, it's not a question of giving up because even if they want to believe they can't because of their brain. But that will be a good thing, all the religions giving up god, because now they can focus on reality, not some imaginary god. There should be a vaccine that causes the brain to be incapable of thinking... That's the only way to see reality.

I think that you would behave like a person with autism. You couldn't relate to things that people would normally relate to. You would always have to be sure that the door would open when you turned the knob. You would have to check the mirror to see if your reflexion still could show up.
It might be different for everyone. Whatever came to mind would be an issue to prove, no matter how many times you've done it. And God forbid that there was an accident! Because anything you associated with the accident would be a issue as well. Like the accident would always happen in your mind if you saw whatever you associated the accident with.
Faith is practiced every day. It doesn't just mean things about God. It means anything in life that you trust in.

Get back to me if and when it happens and I'll worry about it then.
My first impulse however is that living for millions of years as a human stuck at my present age and stuck here on Earth would probably be very tiresome and boring.
Fictional stories of people who found eternal youth seem to agree that it would be a curse rather than a blessing.

It would depend on the person I think, but perhaps some who were on the fence anyhow would just say make the leap and give it up.

People willingly die for their faith all the time. I'm sure a certain percentage would opt for eternal youth, but I think a lot are still jonesing for the eternal "afterlife".

First, faith dosent come from the body or chemicals, it comes from the soul. Second, we are not ment to live forever because we are ment to die, if we were naturally to live forever we would already do it.

I opt for eternal life, not eternal youth,on this earth.
Eternal life with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A notable number of them, I should think. After all, if you're not gonna die, then who needs god?
