You can make yourself stand out to the coach by just being yourself. Don't worry about the rest, just have a great time playing Volleyball, give you your ultimate all, and always, always do the very best you can.

Also, don't be scared and nervous about the first game. You will do a super duper job, so don't worry. You'll do great!

GOOD LUCK, TIGER!!!!!

Well you def need to be yourself and have confidence. If you have condifidence in yourself then the coach will have confidence in you. Always call out "mine" and "Free ball", it will show you communicate well. Never yell at any of your teammates, instead give them pointers like " that set could be a little higher"..or "move your feet and you'll get there"..always remain positive. And yes, first games can be scary, but if it is your first game ever then go in there with a good attitude and know your ready. Knowing that your ready makes all the difference!..I hope you can help me with some of my questions, or anyone else on this pg. cuz im really having a hard time. THANKS and goodluck!

Well to stand out to your coach give it your all in practice. Work hard and be entusiatic especially during games. Do well in games and that will really stand out to your coach. My first game I was extremely nervous. But after the first couple minutes I wasn't anymore I just concentrated on the game and my team. You'll do fine just concentrate and play volleyball and i can guarentee you that'll you'll do fine in your game. =)

the coach is not going to take you off the team unless you don't rise up to the level of your team. do the same thing in practice as you did in tryouts and you will be fine.
as for the first game, think of it as a practice. it is loads of fun, and there is nothing to worry about. just do your best and your coach will recognize that. Good Luck!

the first game is pretty intimidating, if it is your first game ever but don't be worried just focus on your skills. stand out by being loud, hustling, shagging balls, and cheering on teamates.
