I am looking for a selection of wrap recipes to make for about 10 friends. I am a vegetarian so I really don't know what to make for meat wraps. Also looking for veggie wrap ideas. I need recipes that will be OK when made a few hours in advance. I also don't want to have to buy tons of different ingredients for each type I make. Thanks for your help!

Take a slice of hard salami...spread some cream cheese in the middle, then put a pickle on there. Wrap it up and put a tooth pick in the middle to hold it. Super yummy and easy! Best of luck!

sliced turkey breast, roast beef, salami, bologna
add some silced cheeses of different varieties
add vegies like sprouts, lettuce , tomato, onion, avacado, anthing you like
mayo,mustard
pickles, olives

I would go to the grocery with a del;i and get 2-3 kinds of meat, 2 kinds of cheese, buy a few vegies and set it out as a platter, let them make their own

You can use lavosh bread or flour tortillas to make roll up sandwiches or wraps.

1) Hummus or flavored cream cheese w/ grated carrots, thinly sliced cucumber & shredded lettuce.

2) Egg salad.

3) Peanut butter & jelly - make roll ups & cut them so they look like pinwheels. Then you can put a skewer through them while they are flat & alternate w/ grapes, strawberries, cut fruit

4) Roasted eggplant or squash.

Garden Egg Salad
From Food Network Kitchens
6 large eggs
1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise
2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 scallions (white and green), thinly sliced,
1 rib celery, minced, scant 1/2 cup
2 radishes, grated on the large holes of a box grater
8 romaine lettuce leaves
1 cup pea or other sprouts*

Put the eggs in a saucepan with enough cold water to cover. Bring to a boil, cover, and remove from the heat. Set aside for 12 minutes. Drain the eggs and roll them between your palm and the counter to crack the shell, then peel under cool running water.

Dice the eggs. Combine the eggs with mayonnaise, mustard and season with the salt and pepper. Stir in the scallions, celery, and radish.

Divide the egg salad among the lettuce leaves, top with the sprouts and roll up. Serve 2 rolls per serving.

You can buy flavored cream cheese @ a grocery store or bagel shop. Here's a recipe but you can omit the bacon: Engagement Ring Finger Sandwiches
Recipe courtesy Paula Deen
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained and patted dry
1/2 cup finely minced green olives
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1 loaf soft white bread, crusts removed
1 loaf soft wheat bread, crusts removed
2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves, for garnish, optional
2 tablespoons bacon pieces, for garnish, optional
2 tablespoons poppy seeds, for garnish, optional
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, for garnish, optional

In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese and mayonnaise. Split into 4 approximately 4-ounce portions and put into separate bowls.

Combine pineapple and 4 ounces cream cheese mixture and set aside. Combine green olives and 4 ounces cream cheese mixture and set aside. Combine cucumbers and 4 ounces cream cheese mixture and set aside. Combine pecans and 4 ounces cream cheese mixture and set aside.

To assemble sandwiches, spread the fillings on top of white bread slices and cover with wheat bread slices. Cut each sandwich into triangles, squares or circles. Arrange on a large platter by sandwich filling. Garnish with parsley, bacon pieces, poppy seeds, or pecans. In gold ink, write each sandwich filling on a small card, attach it to a toothpick and place it in the center of each pile of sandwiches, identifying the filling.
