I hate to play the race card but how valid would Christianity be to white people if they knew they were worshiping a n i g g e r? I hate to be blunt but its true, white people would turn as secular as a bush bashing liberal in New York if they knew Jesus was African. It's really not a matter of knowing, but its a matter of choosing to not acknowledge this.
Think of this, they had to justify enslaving Africans....if Jesus was black, there would be no justification for slavery!

FYI I am African American, I am also a devout Christian, my father is a Minister.....my interest is not to bash Christians as I am Christian and do believe Christianity is the way to salvation....

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth. Those towns are in Israel. Israel is in ASIA. So, with those facts in mind, how could Jesus have been an African. Jesus was an Asian. Go back and study your geography.
Also, according to Jewish tradition, anyone born of a Jewish woman (regardless of the religion of the father) is a JEW.
I have taught 2 boys whose father is a Christian but their mother is a non-practicing Jew. By tradition those boy are Jews, although they have recently professed a faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

What ever happened to good old personal beliefs?
so many wars and killing in the past an even at the present are based around religious point of views.
most people are bound by tradition an a belief that has taken there interest . the only way your gonna find out who or what nationality Jesus was is if you have a time machine . look to the future and stop living in the past your wasting the gift of life .

Probably because of the fact that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Israel to a Jewish Mother. There's your clue!

he was not an african jew, Jesus' entire lineage can be found in Matthew. After assyria invaded Israel, many of the tribes of Israel were in fact dispersed in Europe, Africa, and Asia; however Jesus was from the tribe of Judah that was not dispersed but returned to their homeland after captivity in Persia.

Get your facts right. Jesus was a Jew born in Bethlehem, which is in Israel. Obviously, He was not African. If you believe this, it would be nice to see some of your "facts."

Jesus was born in Bethlehem and his family was from Nazereth. If this was in Africa than yes you are correct. I doubt this is ture since these towns are both actually in modern day Palestine.

No, more likely he would look more like anyone from the Middle East area. So wouldn't have had the really dark skin, but be more olive in tones. And have course dark hair.
Something we see alot of Arabs look like.

Probably because the Bible said he was jewish. Now do me a favor and find ten jews in this country that are black.

It is a well known fact that Jesus would probably have been dark-skinned, so I don't really know anyone who has a problem with it. Why? Do you?
