my 5 month old male kitten is using a bed for a litter box. i have washed and clean up linen and sprayed but still using bed. litter box is always clean so not sure why he is doing this.. any suggestions?

Is he fixed? If not that may be the problem, you need to get that done ASAP. Close your bedroom door so that he can't get in to get at your bed, and all the other suggestions are good too.

Yes take some of the kitten's droppings and mix that with the cat litter in the box. Each time you see the cat heading for the bed, pick him up and put him in the box. Oh for a start put the box in another room, preferably in a corner away from everything and close your bedroom door.

They can get accustomed to going on certain surfaces, like blankets. You need to make the room off limits to him until he learns to use the litter box 100%. Try several different boxes and different types of litters. Let him pick his favorite. Litter boxes need to be private, yet easy to get in and escape from if they feel threatened.

make that liter box it a bed for the kitten then buy a new litter box for him to crap in!

put catnip in the kitty box and keep your door shut it will attract the cat to the box

Cats are a law unto themselves, if he has decided this is his toilet you will probably never change him.Try moving his bed to a different place.

how old was he when he got seperated from his mother? cuz cats learn such things by instinct or their mothers so i dunno which part hes losing here exactly
