Do you mean when answering the phone or when greeting someone? These are very different. You got a lot of the second. The first includes French allo, Italian pronto, Polish halo or slucham, Spanish often digame. In some countries you say nothing when you pick up the phone but wait for the caller to speak: in Japan, the caller says moshi-moshi, in Korean yebo, in China weiwei.

French- Bonjour, Salut is an informal greeting
German- Guten tag
Spanish- Hola
Also, Ciao has almost been universally accepted. 'Ciao' is how it is spelled in French, English, German and Italian (and possibly other languages, I'm not comletely sure.) But, in Spanish it is spelled Chau or Chao.
