are they ok cars what kind of problems have they had do most for sale have alot of miles

I have a friend he has a pretty nice one with about 100,000 original...

the 6.2 Litre diesels were not that good of a design and kind of under powered...

many of these got either crushed for scrap metal, parted out etc.

many were converted from Diesel to Gas engines thru engine removal and replacements along with other revisions...

because of this in the NADA blue book appraisal section it also has a foot note to deduct 15-20% for diesel engine...

However from a collectibility stand point a Diesel version of either of these will be going up in value soon due to their scarcity too.. (with original diesel engine)

you wont find any diesels anymore because the diesel engines back then were flat out junk and most if not all were converted to gas engines. And for that matter good luck finding one at all
