if i buy a aftermarket cd player for my truck, how do i get it to mount into my truck. the stock stereo is a lot bigger than the aftermarket ones.

you can go into walmart or any autoparts store and buy a kit for the dash, you may also want to look into the harness kits also.

You need to buy some installation kit that allows you to install smaller cd player than you have. And it gives you some space above the cd player instead of the bigger cd player. I had to do the same with my 2001 Honda Accord.

If you buy it from Crutchfield, they will send any necessary panels to fill in the gaps left by the factory stereo. If you buy it elsewhere, make sure you buy the installation kit for you vehicle.

YOU NEED AN INSTALLATION KIT DESIGNED FOR YOUR SPECIFIC TRUCK MAKE/MODEL.most auto parts stores will have what you need.
