How do you get a Red Light Photo traffic violation removed?
I live in MN and I recieved a Red Light Photo ticket in the mail from TX, on a vehicle that I had sold over a year ago. How can I get this ticket removed if I don't know the current owner of the vehicle? Can the TX DA's office remove it because the police department there has been no help?


I do not have a bill of sale, I know the vehicle has been sold since I have sold it. I sent the TX department documentation showing that I have removed the title. The MN DMV also shows I am not the registered owner of the vehicle, I am just the last registered owner. The MN DMV state the vehicle has been sold to an unkonwn party. How am I still responsible?

You're not responsible, that's why there's a check mark stating you weren't the driver of the vehicle....one of the glitches with the red light cams. However, it is up to you to fight for your innocense......that sucks. Call the DA, they'll tell you what to do. Call a news station, that'll get things done with such a controversy the red light cams are now.

Spock (rhp): The title wasn't transferred. That is why the ticket did not go to the buyer.

Stating you were not the driver only works if you identify the driver. Please say you can document who you sold the car to. Provide that information to the authorities.

I'd write to the office in texas that is claiming this and ask them how to proceed in your case.
