Is it against or offensive to the Catholic Church or its laws etc for a (Catholic) teen to dress up in a priest costume for Halloween?

Nah. Now...if you kept it on and started making hospital calls, though - there I think your Bishop may draw the line.

As a gay male couple, my late spouse and I dressed up as a Nun (my only time in "drag") and a Priest to go to three Halloween parties and everyone had a great time. The funniest part was when we were going thru the toll booth at the Sumner Tunnel in Boston. Yes we were both Catholics and asked two Catholic Priests that we knew, and they said there was nothing in the Bible condemning it. What a blast, and I still have a great chuckle when I look at the photos.

I attended a very strict catholic school as a child. The sisters told us we should dress as saints for Halloween (yeah right!) so I would think a priest's outfit would be fine.

It's not offensive to me if someone dresses up as an angel, or a prophet.....so as long as it wasn't done with an offensive purpose, what's the harm? You could be "Monsignor Martinez" from King of the Hill.

It's fine...no one complains about nuns at Halloween a priest shouldn't be any different.

People dress up in other biblical customs!
Churches have their rules but it is not a law!

In the UK they've had "Tarts and Vicars" dressups for decades! It's no big deal over there!
