Wouldnt this prove the bible wrong? This is why Hitler tryed too do it and muslims are trying too as we speak.
Of course I know that 2/3's of it will be destroyed when the end comes.. But then the King will come back on a white warhorse. 8)

Can't happen! Read Genesis 13: 14-15. Forever means FOREVER..., NO ENDING and that land IS the land of Israel! If you doubt it, continue to read all of Genesis, the books of the major and minor prophets and Psalms and Proverbs and finally Galatians, Hebrews and the Revelation!! Just can't happen!! It's God's and so are THEY and by faith, all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord.
Psalms 24 says, "The EARTH is the Lord's and the fullness of it, the world (system) and they that dwell in it!
It's not "so to speak", it IS their mission and they are sealing their own fate! When God get enough and His wrath comes up in His face..., "COME LORD JESUS" and Israel WILL be defended!! Amen. Our Lord is a Jew, all His people are Jews by blood or by faith, All the Bible comes from the Jews and God's will is ALL ABOUT THOSE HE CREATED AND RESCUED AND LOVES!! You don't want to get on the bad side of Israel. God promises to BLESS THOSE WHO BLESS HER AND CURSE THOSE WHO CURSE HER. Got it?
Why do you think the entire world either LOVES or HATES Israel? That little piece of land and those people are HIS tithe in the Earth and guess who wants it? He thinks also that he has it with that abomination sitting on the very 'high place' rock. Read Psalm 37 and rejoice!! 1 Corinthians 15:57 & 2 Corinthians 2: 14a and roll with laughter!! Count on it!

If Mecca were destroyed, Islam would end, because the rituals of Islam revolve around Mecca. Hajj is a REQUIREMENT of the religion, but if Mecca were gone, then a part of the religion would vanish, leaving the rest null.
Likewise for daily prayer, if Mecca doesnt exist, the whole alignment ritual is null.
The same isnt true for Israel. Maybe Judaism has location specific rituals but Im not aware of any for Christianty. So I dont know what doctrine or ritual would be impacted.

Israel won't be destroyed. All the might of it's Arab neighbors couldn't destroy it in in 1973, even with suprise on their side. Now days with the way things are in the middle east the US would never let the Arabs get the upper hand against Israel on the ocassion they would be stupid enough to attack again. As to the bible . . . It's a bunch of moral stories, not a prediction of future events to be taken literally.
"Brynn" - Israel is the name of a State, therefore muslims can fantasize about destroying it. To them it's known as the land of palestine, not israel.

Absolutely, God would no longer be God if Israel were destroyed, which explains why the enemy wants to destroy Israel so badly.

mzjakes: You are saying the Jews/Israelites are still here and the others were only footnotes in history, do you not realize that Israel was only established in 1948? The muslims ruled that land for over a millinium! Can you elaborate?

Even if that happened Christians would still believe in their religion. It doesn't matter what happens or what it says in the Bible, they will rationalize their way around everything, no matter how ridiculous the rationalization has to be.

The Egyptians tried, the Amalekites tried, so did the Midianites, the Babylonians, the Persians, the Syrian-Greeks, the Romans, the Nazis among many others, and now the Arab muslims. Besides the last, where are all the others.....just footnotes in history and the Jews/Hebrews/Israelites....whatever you choose to call them are still here.
When will the rest of the world learn, ultimately, this is one fight you can't win.

Hiterl launched no attack on Palestine that I know of. The Palestinian people have a right to their country,so I don't know what you mean by "Muslims" are trying to destroy "Isreal".

Israel will not be destroyed, look at it's history...all the countries who have tried to take over and have all been defeated by only few men and equipment. God is on their side, they can't lose. That's why the U.S. needs to support Israel. If we turn our backs on them, we turn our backs on God too.

I have friends there.....I'd be sad. I don't even care about the bible. It is a beautiful place. what about all the innocent people living there?
