You work as a clerk at store. A girl customer whom you've only spoken w/a couple times over the course of a year accuses you of secretly contacting her via IM.
Would you be angry and look away and ignore her? Would you be confused? Do guys automatically go on the defensive about an issue like this?
(If that happened to me as a girl, I would just think the guy were nuts but I wouldn't be angry)

Depends on the individual, reading people based on there reactions is a bit of an art, that can't be genralized, you have to know the individual pretty intimatly to really beable to take a response and trace it back to a cause. People can get defensive for MULTIPLE reasons in a social situation like that and have nothing to do with the cause. It could be the people standing around made him feel like he didn't want to get assicated with this. It could be he just deep down never like the girl, could be so many things. So really becarful were individual in are individuality, so to speck, so asking for a general response to solve a specific question about individual human nature is exactly why Psycology is failing us right now, were all very complicated beast, even those who act sterotypical can't be generalize completely on there reason for that behavior. OO yea I'd simple tell her dependent on the impression I got the truth, but if I didn't I might say something funny like well I wish I would of. Or if I had, tell yea I did sorry about that a gutless action on my part, but my applogies for scarin you. But thats based on my own perceptions, individuality, ideology, and purpose in this world.....
