Notice that I gave this person three links to that "secret" report: from gbn.com, an AMERICAN newspaper and the History Channel.

Also, please keep answers on-topic. I'm not asking if you believe in global warming or not.

Well, I can't speak for that person. His link did say that it was a secret document. Of course, since you gave him links, it should have been brought to his attention that it wasn't a secret.
I do believe that there are people that are trying to cover up AGW by misleading the public. This is, in my opinion, best made obvious by oil companies paying people to discredit AGW. The same person that worked for the Tobacco companies, claiming that smoking wasn't harmful, is involved.

Here is another link as to why people would think there are those trying to cover up the science of GW.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2006/sep/19/ethicalliving.g2

Personally, I think the biggest part, which have little to do with a cover up on government level, is the fact that most people who denies AGW refuses to participate in scientific understanding of the issue. They, sometimes, deliberately misinterpret, or misinform when they make statements. They often (always) bring in political issues. Their actions have shown consistency with what has been described as a tactic to undermine the science of GW.

Point to ponder, Ive heard that eons ago the earth was smaller and spun much faster on its axis. That the most recent measurements state that the diameter of the earth has changed by as much as 6ft.
Then their is a theory called hyper dimensional physics .The short, is that energy streaming into the solar system is absorbed by the bodies of mass in it. Their by causing a growth in the body of mass. This would mean a physics where energy is converted into matter .
With this theory what we are experiencing is planet change? An this change would cause plate growth by volcanic activity . Most at the bottom of the oceans.Warming the ocean waters changing the weather.
This new theory would effect the sun also and all other planets.
This info gives a whole new way to think about the changes going on on this planet.
This could be the cover up?

I read your response and I thought it was impeccable.

I don't think there is a conspiracy to cover up global warming, but there is a conspiracy to delay or block action on it.

The disinformation campaign, the editing of official reports to alter straightforward conclusions (such as NSF), exerting economic and political pressure on international authorities to water down their findings, and significantly, blocking (by executive order) every attempt by the State governments to obtain enforcement of the existing laws in the USA by the EPA. Forcing the State governments to take every significant case all the way to the Supreme Court obviously adds quite a bit to the cost, and adds a substantial delay before the law is finally followed. The fact that the court always rules against Bush doesn't change that. The economic connections of the polluters to Bush, Rowe, Cheney, and the rest of the White House inner circle are indisputably a matter of record, as are their economic connections to Halliburton, and the host of other "contractors" (including mercenaries, or "security specialists") being awarded war contracts in violation of the laws requiring competitive bidding. I know this gang isn't the first Presidential Administration to steal from the Treasury. Harry Truman was the last President who didn't leave office wealthier than he was when he took office.

The information about the Climate crisis is freely available, and obviously the current government is aware of the facts. If they weren't, the large amount of public money being spent to prevent or delay law enforcement would have no point.

When you consider it, the gang's attacks on science certainly aren't limited to climate experts. Take a look at the molecular biologists, and planetary geologists. What's going on there makes the Global Warming skeptics seem almost rational.

Vices of men: greed and pride.

Acknowledging global warming and that we are responsible for it logically leads to corrective actions that will harm the business of energy companies that have invested in infrastructure to keep it running. It means having to tear down or retrofit, if not abandoning the very means of wealth that these people have come to rely on. Just like how we were bombarded by misinformation about the harmful effects of tobacco because the cigarette companies relied on the status quo to make money.

Then there is pride. As one is inevitably get drawn into this conflict, one invests heavily emotionally into the side one's with. One becomes consumed by one's conviction and feel personally offended and/or hurt whenever the other side is perceived to be "winning" the argument.

One also hates being wrong.

Whatever it's its beautiful good geared up. The denialists name Global Warming a hoax whilst they're those perpetrating the hoax. They name Global Warming a faith whilst the denialists are those appearing like a cult and feature a truly cult like following. I've stated it earlier than and I'll say it once more, its occurred ago and it will occur once more, and no I'm no longer speakme approximately cycles! I'm speakme approximately the refusal to receive new recommendations. I'm speakme approximately the flat Earth, the universe is going across the Earth, e-book burner, witch burner, comprehend it all mentality

Probably because conspiracy theories are such a popular pastime these days. If the world is going to end, it's exciting, and you don't have to worry about how you're going to make the car payments, or fulfill your parents' expectations for your life.

A good conspiracy theory also makes the world make sense, which in truth it doesn't. But if you think you know what's going to happen and why, it gives you a small sense of power over your own destiny.

Global warming is excellent for a conspiracy theory because it turned out to be such a political topic.

There is still a LOT of debate among climatologists as to whether or not there is enough data to say that humanity is effecting global temperature.
Much of the existing data is preliminary in nature, and this is the problem- scientific data being what it is, it is easy to look at raw data and interpret the numbers according to ones' perspective. This stems from a gap between generalized data and highly specific data- the disconnect between highly specific data and rough trends must be closed before any real answers can be had, and the science isn't there yet.

Because there isn't a lot of press coverage of the scientists themselves (who almost universally call for more data collection coupled with cautious and conservative action while we are waiting), politically-motivated 'spokespeople,' non-climatological scientists interested in weather and attention-junkies are capitalizing on the human desire to have answers NOW.

The reason is simple, if Global warming is true, then there is a necessity to change, away from fossil fuels like oil and coal and onto renewable resources.

The problem is, there is far less profit to be made from these. Sunlight and wind can't be charged, the only money made from them are their inital components and an environment where they are more cheaper than their fossil fuel counterparts (few places in the West where this is truly the case.)

If you move from fossil fuels, the oil companies lose money. The oil industry has more power in the US government than most Americans are willing to admit. Covering things up is in their vested interests, to influence consumers to keep using oil right up to the last drop.

Because everything today is dictated and orchestrated by consumerism and marketing and reducing consumerism in order to save the planet is totally against the interests of consumerism and marketing.

Some people therefore suspect that some scientists are paid under the counter by corporate firms and certain governments bodies in order to discredit the credibility that a man made induced global warming is taking place.

It's the same people that believe Elvis is still alive, that there really were aliens at Roswell, that the Moon landings were staged and that 9/11 was an inside job.

You can believe in global warming or not it really makes no difference because we're never going to be able to control it and that's a fact!

Some people resort to conspiracy theories out of a need to provide a sense of order in an inherently chaotic situation.
