let me guess you are the new "Nancy" clone.
Fortunately for me you have obvious "tells".
Answer to your question: nope why test a weapon in public? there are plenty of places where they can test a weapon in secret. seems stupid to expose a top secret device by testing it on a commercial aircraft.
Try logic and reason, you will be happier for it.

Seems improbable, scalar weapons - Conspiracy Theory cousins of the Tesla coil, which also inspired the 'ray guns' of early science fiction - are purported to produce massive lightning-like discharges that would no be easily overlooked at an airport. (Plus, of course, they don't exist, but, even if they did, that wouldn't be what you'd expect from one being 'tested.')

"Oh I know....lets test a top secret death ray weapon on an airliner in the middle of an international airport.....we can keep that nice and quiet can't we as no-one will ever notice......."
One of the more bizarre conspiracy theories.
There is a bloke who works down at our local burger bar who used to be Elvis, and he goes to bingo with Marilyn Monroe and JFK every Thursday.

Doubt it. If you had payed close enough attention it happened when they skidded. Next you'll blame either Bush or Bin Laden. Don't take all of what you read too seriously. Have you ever heard of propoganda? I

Not at all.
Personally, I think it was shitty maintenance (or no maintenance) being performed by the airline. The airline had a much higher accident rate than the average.

No...and enough with the conspiracy theories. Sometimes there are these things called ACCIDENTS. Y'know? Totally unexpected and unintentional?

No, I don't personally think so. I think it was a fuel leak, just like they suspect. I believe that we can read anything we want into just about any situation. However, it was interesting reading.
