OK, not ALL guys are into that.... I agree with you. Some strippers may be fun to look at, but to date? Are you kidding me? Yeah, unless she went on to get her degree and become successful BEFORE I met her, the chances of me dating a stripper (or former one) are slim to none.

I think it has to do with the fantasy. Think dating a pornstar: what you see on screen or on stage is an act. It may not be the actual person. It's fantasy that they be amazing or wild in bed, but when you do get there they want romance like every other girl. Having a few friends that I hangout at movies or go on vacations with they say once the fantasy wears off the reality is extremely difficult for the guy to deal with. You have to understand every guy wants her sexually & you have to fight off jealousy & fear all the time because some guys may be financially successful & spend hundreds or thousands on her & you can only take her to Chili's. Why date a stripper/dancer? Most of the time guys think easy access to sex. Sometimes it's because the girls are easier to talk to. They start off the conversation or make the first move which can be very hard for guys. We're told girls like bad boys vs nice guys. Nice guys go to strippers bcuz that's all they have left. Sometimes.

Men tend to favor dating strippers for a few similar reasons. For one thing, men tend to be more outwardly expressive about their sex drives and are often thinking with the wrong part of their body. When a woman places herself in a position to provide sexual entertainment, he is expecting her to bring that into the relationship. Also, he probably assumes that because they're a stripper they'll be good in bed, which ranks high on most single men's lists. I don't speak from experience and I don't agree with it but it's often true. Men are known to rank sexual intimacy high on their lists of required items in a relationship, and who more likely to be willing to satisfy that than a stripper? That's their thinking. They'll never be told, "no." A woman who would present herself to men in such a vulgar display as stripping does not have a good chance of landing a responsible, respectable, and decent man in the first place. A man who prioritizes sex will be attracted to a stripper, where a man who favors other features like communication will most likely be attracted to someome they can talk to for hours about anything. See where I'm going with this? That may be outside the box but I hope it offers you better insight.

Why so judgemental about strippers?
Not ALL of them are dirty and sleezy and use/sell drugs and sleep around with their 'clients.'
.I think that's a little harsh and forward to say. For one you don't know every single stripper out there, so how can you judge ALL of them. You're only making that assumption based on word of mouth, seriously.
.That's the stereotype for strippers it's not always the truth.
.So while someone you know may have come across that sleezy stripper and you so happened to hear about the story...that doesn't mean they're all sleezy.
In fact I find it quite insulting to hear people say those kinds of things about strippers, and I'm not even a stripper.
My first judgement about you making this statement and questioning why men date strippers...is that you are jealous in some way. I mean honestly, what do you have against them? You have a job and you make your money...stripping is their job and that's how they make money. Why get so upset and verbally slam them just becuase they have a nice body, and get paid for it?
.So I have to pose the question to you: "Why do you care...it's not your life, so why is it such a big deal that men date them?"
*Just because you don't agree with that lifestyle, and it's not something you would do, doesn't mean you should judge others because that's their lifestyle. They have nice bodies and their job is to visually stimulate men/women in order to get their money.
*Guys think they're erotic and sexy....think about it, what guy wouldn't want a 'barbie' doll looking female who dresses up and who is flexible and who can dance seductively? Also those girls have some serious arm/leg muscles in order to hold themselves up on the pole...so you have to give them some credit for that. They're fit and toned and tan as well.
~That's why guys enjoy their company so much.
Simple.
....I support the Performing Arts :P
....*Listen to "I'm in love with a stripper" by T-Pain...and that about sums it up.

Maybe the stripper has a nice personality. I guess it will surprise you that some strippers aren't into drugs and don't have sex with everyone. Fortunately I don't need a job like that and I really have no desire to do it for fun, but I don't judge.

The stripper is like a badge of honor for a young man. It is an even bigger badge of honor for the older man. It is fun ride on the wild side and yes- a lot of the baggage you mentioned above does go on. However- very few men of any worth are going to fall in love with a stripper. Those you do fall in love are typically the ones who get taken.

Personally I've never dated one. Well a stripper won't hang around with just anyone. It is assumed by men that if you can seduce and date a stripper that you can have any woman you want.

Not all strippers are drug addicts and prostitutes. Actually the majority aren't . Some are students and working mothers. They don't walk around being stippers 24/7. Maybe some guys see them for being more than that. I do know that some guys don't, but some do.

They date strippers because of a couple reasons:
1) She could be a great human being and not do any of the stereotypical stuff you've mentioned.
or
2) They're smokin hot, know how to move their body, and know how to milk the fool for money.

Stop taking what other people say as the truth and find out for yourself. Maybe in some circumstances the stereotypes might be true but in most circumstances they are not.
Don't assume or you're the first three letters of the word
