2. Can somone explain the different types?: Nitro, gas, Electric, etc.

3. Is there a website where I can customize 'em the way I want an order?

4. Are there websites where I can buy parts? You know, like steering, drift parts, etc.

We just bought my son one on grandhobby.com. They range from $150 to over $1000. Electric uses batteries to run the car, gas is an alternative to the electric and nitro is added to the gas. I just did a yahoo search for gas powered rc cars. Most websites have spare parts and upgrade kits. You could also try rctradeandpost.com and justforfunhobbies.com. Just research your car brand. The cheaper ones, the parts are harder to come by and local stores don't want to deal with them, making it more expensive to maintain. The best I have seen is the Traxxas.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

The prices vary from cheap to real expensive, depending on what you get. Just like anything else.

The nitro, gas, electric are the differenct types of power for the cars. The electric uses batteries that are rechargable, and the gas uses gas, and the nitro uses methanol to power the cars.

A bunch of websites out there , you'll just have to do a search.

A good idea would be to go to a club that races them and talk to the guys racing their cars. Most clubs will gladly talk about their cars and help people get into the sport.

If you need more info, go to a hobby shop and ask them questions, they also will be glad to help you out.

good luck.

use a 555 timer. you should set it to holiday after 40 5 seconds or each time it won a distant sign. The output ought to then set off a pair SCRs or PNP transistors, inflicting a charged capacitor to offload opposite polarity on the stress motor for some seconds.
