Is it just me, or do these sound like really frumpy things to be wearing for eternity?

I think ur referring to this verse: (Isa 61:10) I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

The "Robe" is a covering. Righteousness is justice, rightness, virtue, prosperity. Again, "Gowns" are a covering. Salvation is liberty, deliverance, prosperity, safety. This is according to the Holy Bible w/Strong's Hebrew & Greek dictionary's. Get a free, legitimate copy @ http://www.e-sword.net

I don't think what we "wear" in heaven will be an issue. Check out this link for more info: http://www.gotquestions.org/look-like-in-Heaven.html
