I would love to become an interfaith chaplin. I want to go to a non-christian, God centered seminary that doesn't subscibe to any one religious tradition. Any advice, seminary suggestions? Thanks

Why not just get ordained with the Universal Life Church? It's free, and you can do it online. You'll have to get registered with your local authorities to make it legal, but I have several friends who have done this.

Then you can begin your ministry. Whatever studying you choose to do can be done independently and on your own terms. It might be easier than actually trying to find non-Christian yet "God-centered" seminary (or will at least help you jump-start your ministry while you're searching for the right seminary).

I think that the problem that you would run into is that pretty much anything that's organized AND God centered is going to have some opinion involved. It may be better to find a reputable seminary close to you that you like and just reject the information that you don't want. However, if you find one like you're looking for, let me know. That would be very interesting to see!
