Ok so, I'm 22 years old. About a year and half ago, while doing nothing significant I randomly got a "spot" of blueish color in my vision, it covered approximately 1/10th of my total field of vision. It lasted for 15 minutes and then went away. Nothing happened for about 5 months, then it happened again, just recently within the past month it happened again and lasted 20 or so minutes.

My eyes seem more sensitive and sometimes when I'm looking at something they clorors change, for example the white on my LCD monitor will turn to a light brown for very short periods of time.

The doctor said I was suffering from migraine headaches, (even though I don't have an actual headache)... I think he's wrong.

Does anyone know what this could be?

I don't want to scare you but I can list some possibilities from very simple to very severe. You could be having a migraine headache because a headache doesn't necessarily have to include pain. It is a swelling in your ateries in your brain. If this occurs near a nerve ending you are going to feel a headache because of the pressure it is putting on it, if not then you might feel no pain. You can get an MRI scan of your head if you want to rule out a tumor or growth of some kind. This can put pressure on the back of your eye or on your occipital lobe (in the back of your head) depending where it is. Remember that your eyes are the only party of your brain that are exposed to the outside world, yes they are part of your brain (connected directly to it). So you can get the MRI if you want to start checking off things it could be.

Hey there,
It may sound impossible but it's really easy to improve your vision without surgery with some specific eye exercises. I'm following this method http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413 and it's working incredibly well.
I have been using it for years
Hope it helps.

Wow, that's unusual. I'm not sure what it could be, but the best thing I can tell you to do is track your symptoms and consider going to another doctor. Your health is so important--there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion.

"floaters" are very small spots in the field of vision and can remain indefinately. however, that doesn't sound like what you had. if you haven't already, consult a good opthamologist. they can look into this more deeply. good luck.
