I have always been a fan of MeMe!!! Don't let these people annoy you with their comments on denying your age. I know when I think of Grandma, I think of my 104 year old grandmother. It's not a bad thing to want something different. My kids call my mom Nana. I think I will go through the same thing when I have grandbabies. My oldest child (step-child but he's still mine) is going on 19 and I'm only 30.

I don't understand not wanting to be a Grandma (in name). Some women don't feel "old enough" to be a grandma, but you are if your kids are having kids. :) Just my thoughts.
But, anyway, there are a ton of other things to be called.
Grandmother
Granny
Grammy
Oma
Nana
MeMe
Nanny
Baba
Mama Last name
Most of these are far worse than Grandma to me, but hey, to each her own. See this website with literally HUNDREDS of names.
A novel idea is to let the kid chose what to call you. My kids call my mom Grandma and their other Grandma "Grandmother" at her choosing. But oftentimes the call my mom Grammy. It is cute. Sort of like a term of endearment for Grandma.
Congrats on your new baby to love!!!!

My mom didn't want to be called "grandma either" so we used NONA which is the italian word for grandma. We are teaching my 2 year old nephew to say nona. I personally think its better than nana or oma.

Here we go with this age and condition denial again! Why not have your grandchildren call you by your name? Any pseudonym for grandma will still carry the connotation of your age and condition as a grandmother! Pfft

My grandma didn't want to be called grandma either. So she gave her gradkids' parents the option of having the kids call her grandmama or nanny or nona (pronounced like no nah). I called her nanny and not grandmama since grandmama's hard to say. And my other cousin called her nona. So I don't know if you like any of these, but hope they help!

The classics:
--Nanna
--Granny
My mom goes by Big Mamma, but that's also because she's always wanted to be called that.
There's also...Oma, GG (although it can stand for Great Grandmother, I've seen it used for grandmother)
