im not sure, but from student teaching experience i would say it would get harder because of course the world is gaining more knowledge so we begin to question alot of things but they are still things to do with God tht cant be explained at all.
Anyway, i think tht over time religon will become more commerical ( kinda is today) to gain money and government stuff etc and more and more people will be atheist coz its better not to think about religon for them, whereas for people like me, i think its comforting to believe what i believe and i feel less like im on the planet to sin and so what i like.
Honestly its about time God sent a new messiah and made all muslim, christains, jews etc the same religon, but he likes the play thinks the hard way doesnt he =P always a test, and anyway even if there was a new messiah no one would believe that they are coz people today are so grounded on trying to be athiest , christian, muslim or what ever. As i said before the world is getting too ''smart'' for anything like that to ever happen again, smart isnt even the right word...too 'developed' or 'advanced' therefore wont believe much of anything that wasnt drilled into them as a child, hence.. atheists, humans in the past believed messiahs and religon more because they had room to be open minded because they had no science to divert them away from what is really happening. God made everything science cant explain everything, he made science to test people, theres still near death experiences and miracles tht happen today tht cannot be explained. And yeah life a ***** sometimes but if it wasnt there wud be no reason to die and go to a better place, we become better stronger more insightful people because of these bad things, everything happens for a reason no matter how painful it is.

You're not an Atheist if you're asking how to "instill God", and you use the term "him" as though it is a fact that He exists. Atheists don't believe in God. Perhaps you're an Agnostic?
Muslims teach their children about the world around them using the scientific method, and they still very much believe in God. So, while I agree that there is a turning away from organized religion at this time (Blasphemy Challenge, which you referenced, is linked below as an example), I don't think we can blame it on science.
And, "learning about the world around them" should in no way threaten their belief system or morality. If learning about the world does so, then I would say that they need to question their belief system or morality!

I don't have a problem with teaching my son about religion. I don't try to "instill" one God over another... I give him information, when I'm asked questions about it, and allow him to make up his own mind. I would rather instill virtues such as Honesty, Responsibility, etc into him than to worry about whether or not he has the right God... though, it seems, he's leaning more towards Asatru (Norse Religion) than anything else... which for me, I feel that is great. From what little I have read about it, he'll at least learn valuable things he can use in this life. Whereas many of the mainstream religions seem to only teach how to bully others, talk down to them, in order to try to make them feel guilty for not believing in their personal God(s).

It is indeed getting harder, because parents are no longer as strong in their faith themselves. They do not feel they have the right to "impose" their beliefs on their children. They are also unable to exemplify a life of faith for their children (by going to church, by reading the Bible, and so on).
Knowledge of science does not have to prevent people from having religious faith. Science and religion are two different ways of expressing and understanding the realities of life and the world around us. Being a scientist does not necessarily mean being an atheist.
There is no reason, however, for parents not to encourage their children to explore the beliefs and sacred writings of various faiths, so they can find their own path.

Society is against Him and it is difficult to keep kid's sights on the eternal when the material is put across by everyone as being so important. It takes daily reminders that this world is fleeting and the joys here are temporary. Toys break, people die, clothes get ruined, cars wreck, etc., etc. We were not created for this miserable vally of tears, but for a higher existance. Plus, there are so many common sense reasons to go against the accepted norms nowadays like premarital sex (teen pregnancy), underage drinking (health, DUI), selfishness (no one likes you), etc., etc. To some people God is oppressive, but others see that He can really set you free of the oppressiveness of the world's ideas.

A simple approach : teach children/kids to treat other kids/people the way they would like to be treated.
Essentially teaching them to live the golden rule which is the basis of what god taught anyway.
Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You-- is the only thing people have to learn to do.

Parents have to do that because you can't talk about God in public schools. Now people are trying to pass off evolution as fact when reality check: it started out as, and still is, a THEORY. How are they instilling God in us young people at school? They are cursing His name and trying to get us to do it too. Not trying to be discriminant but I like Christian/Catholic science teachers because they don't try to get you to believe that evolution or any of the other theories are true. And yes I've had non religious teachers who tried to shove evolution down my throat. Didn't work.

"Is it getting harder for people to BRAINWASH kids INTO religion?
Most kids these days are not AS GULLIBLE as they used to BE (Blasphemy challenge being one example). How do people FORCE FEED God in kids heads IN ORDER TO BETTER CONTROL THEM these days while they are at school learning about the TRUE world around them THROUGH LOGIC AND INTELLECTUAL TESTING in Science class?"
There you go- fixed it for you.

Science is not the antithesis of religion, and children spend the vast majority of time at home with their parents, rather than at school. Parents have a much greater impact on a child's behavior than school could ever hope to have.

Yes, because even modern children can see through the absurdity of their parent's religious superstitions. With each passing generation kids are becoming less and less religious because the modern world is becoming more and more divorced from the age of mythology when the bible was written.
