The Bible has no mention of him. Does anyone know why? Perhaps because he is not a prophet.
Opinions?

I am secure in the hands of our Father and of Jesus, our savior. No one can give me chapter or verse that tells of someone coming after Jesus? Even Mohammad.

Superfreind - jiberish is not helpful. And, as I suspect of you, you are not a man of peace.

The first book of Moses, the first scripture God gave to man explains a prophet of God must be in agreement with the word of God and the prophets of God. Muhammad was not.
The word of God says that we must try spirit to see that he is from God.
Muhammad agreed with a spirit that taught against the word of God.
The word of God says any man or angel teaching a different Gospel than the one that is already taught is cursed.
The word of God says any man that teaches Christ is not the Son of God and the Messiah and atoned for sin is a spirit of anti Christ.
Muhammad could not be a prophet of God.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!

I got speed, I got endurance!
Joe Frazier better have insurance!

Last night I had a dream, When I got to Africa,
I had one hell of a rumble.
I had to beat Tarzan’s behind first,
For claiming to be King of the Jungle.
For this fight, I’ve wrestled with alligators,
I’ve tustled with a whale.
I done handcuffed lightning
And put thunder in jail.
You know I’m bad.
I have murdered a rock,
I’ve injured a stone, and hospitalized a brick.
I’m so bad, I make medicine sick.
I’m so fast, man,
I can run through a hurricane and don't get wet.
When George Foreman meets me,
He’ll pay his debt.
I can drown the drink of water, and kill a dead tree.
Wait till you see Muhammad Ali.

The old testament mentioned Muhammad as the coming prophet after Jesus. All testaments come with the same message in different times with different prophets. The bible has been corrupted through the years, and that's why it doesn't mention Muhammed as a prophet.

Peace be upon the two prophets, Jesus Christ and Muhammad.

Peace.

To make it clear, these are holybooks sent by Allah Taala to His Messengers :

1. Zabur for Daud (David)
2. Taurat (Torah) for Musa (Moses)
3. Injil (Gospel) for Isa al Masih (Jesus Christ)
4. al Quran for Muhammad SAW

As for Bible, that holybook compiled a huge collection of books (Gospels, Epistles, Revelations and etc...). In addition, Paul of Tarsus who made those Epistles never being mentioned in Torah or even Gospel that he is a Prophet. So, why on earth, the council bind together his epistles and other texts in a single book called Bible ?. I can't see the logic here. Moreover, Paul is not one of the 12 Apostles, so, to what extent we should rely on him ?. Anyone could help me to figure this?

Of course, Muhammad SAW is a Prophet and he is the Last Messenger of Allah Taala " Khatimul Anbiya' ". During his preaching days, he never asked people to write the words from God but they can only write the words from him; later known as al Quran and Hadith respectively. Why ? Because, he was told by Allah Taala that those previous holybooks have been altered and manipulated by Jews, as Moses and Jesus were sent by Allah to save and lead Jews to the right track. You could find some verses in al Quran and Hadith that parallel with my explaination.

Plus, he asked his beloved friends and followers especially the 4 Right-Guided Caliphs to memorised all the words of Allah as to protect the purity and the sacredness of the words. But later, during the reign of Abu Bakr as Siddiq, Umar al Khattab asked him to compiled those words in a book called "al Quran al Karim" and this hardwork was completed during the reign of Uthman Ibn Affan with "Rasm Uthmani". Matter or fact, there's no such addition being done by them, no such Epistles of Abu Bakr, Revelation of Umar, or whatsoever until today.

Please open your eyes, your heart and minds... Logically Bible is not a well-protected book since there's a lot of Bible nowadays and even the intrepretations are vary.

The Bible was around 500 years before he came to be.

Saying that according to the Bible, he would not be a prophet anyway. He fulfilled no prophecy's and contradicted the laws of those before him.

duh, the bible DOES mention him! Jesus said "I come to prepare the way for one who will come after me." and he sure wasn't talking about George Bush! Maybe you meant "Why doesn't the bible mention him by name?". Again, duh, the bible was mostly written BEFORE the prophet Mohammad salallahu alaihi wa salaam was born.
