So, why the hell didn't God do anything about it sooner? Does God work in mysterious ways...after 5-7 years? God just a dumb hobbit who needs to be kicked in the nuts?

You're just another person with no understanding of free will. Okay, I'll say it yet again, "if God interferred everytime some nutjob decided to do evil, we coudn't say we really had free will". Hitler chose to do evil on a mass scale, but to have stopped him would have meant Hitler didn't really have free will.

It hits me strange that most people want nothing to do with God and yet expect and blame Him for the troubles that befall mankind. If God was not working in the lives of people then Hitler would have won and we would all be doing the "goose-step" to work or school. I would not help someone who called me a dumb hobbit and who needed a kick, would you? There are reasons why folks go through hard times that only God knows why. However, while going through those difficult times how much better for our peace of mind to understand that God is ultimately in control of everyone destiny. Whether we live of die we are in the hands of God. I would rather live and die trusting in His goodness. This, I know is not always an easy thing to do when we see great suffering, we do get angry, even the most faithful. However, if in the end one decides to keep trusting regardless of the circumstances God does give us peace and security. My father fought in the navy during WW11 and I thank him for that sacrifice. He was not even 18 yrs old when he left for the war. I thank God for people like my dad and for all the soldiers out there that are fighting to keep us safe. God bless our young men and women.

There were people praying FOR Hitler. The RCC in Germany called for a world day of prayer for Hitler to win!
As for God, no He did not interfere. Since Satan and man raised the issue of God's right to rule His creations back in Eden, He has allowed man to try to rule himself. Satan is the ruler of this world, a fact people always try to overlook. (John 14:30; Eph. 2:2, 6:12;Luke 4:5-7 and 1 John 5:19) Both Satan and man, himself, is responsible for our problems today. That does not mean He will keep hands off.
God's original purpose for the earth and man was for man to spread the Garden of Eden paradise over the entire earth and everything to be in peace and perfection. He doesn't give up half way. He fully intends to restore things as He desires and nothing can stop that.
The best news for us is God has the power of resurrection for those who lost their lives due to Hitler's evil to an earthly paradise as our original parents, Adam & Eve, once had. The wait is worth it.

Don't forget, the Russians won Berlin, where Hitler et al. had engineered Germany's destruction of much of Europe and the lives of millions. You know, the 'atheistic' Russians.

God didn't get rid of Hitler. The Russians got to him first.

And did God really use Stalin to do it? You'd think he could've found somebody slightly more likeable to accomplish his will!
