hey, it all depends on the person.... it is possible both ways..
he may have low sex drive.. and it may be the effects from the rape..
he needs to seek counseling.. and find out.. if it is effecting his relationships...
perhaps he has never really dealt with the issue.. and needs to talk his self thru it with a therapist..
and he can be tested to see if it is his sex drive..
then, perhaps it has turned him on to men,. and he doesn't want to face it.. living in denial...
he needs to have it ck'ed out...
lots of different answers here apply...

Sure it could. But if he has a low sex drive, it doesn't necessarily mean he was raped. Are you just assuming or do you know?
edit: Yikes. That is some scary, f'd up stuff. Were the police involved?
Yeah. That would probably mess him up. I wish I had something more insightful for you, but I wish you both the best and hope you continue to care because I imagine he'll need it for the rest of his life. I will leave any further suggestions to professionals. I don't really have anything to say from anything close experience-wise.

I would think it could affect his sex life now. I'm sure guys can feel the same effects as women.
Have you talked with him concerning this? You are his wife, you need to let him know that you will never hurt him or cause anything bad. Let him know that you will listen and be supportive in whatever way you can.
Good luck!

It's certainly likely that someone abused as a child would have sexual problems. However, that's not the only possible suspect. Fatigue, illness, hormonal imbalance...there are all sorts of things that can have a negative impact on sex drive.

That's "raped" (not reped) and it might affect his adult sex life yes. A counselor could help him figure that out.

SOMETIMES IT WILL! IF HE DIDNT GET THE HELP THAT HE NEEDED AT THE TIME AND MAYBE HE NEEDS TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT IT HOW HE IS FEELING RIGHT NOW AND NOT EVERY BODY HAS A STRONG SEX DRIVE THAT COULD JUST BE HIM
