The person you had to sit next too, pulled out a book with a Pentagram and the words "Satanic Bible" on it. Then started reading it, would you peek into it?

Would you be able to sit next to them for 5 hours say?

Well, of course. I'm a Christian, and I've read The Satanic Bible myself. Perhaps I could discuss it with my seatmate. I frequently read literature from religions and belief systems other than my own.

True story. On my return flight from the Far East, I chanced upon sitting beside a born-again Christian in Business class, who prominently laid out his Bible on his armrest as we took off.

Sure enough his first opener question was "Do you believe in Jesus?"

To which I replied, "I've read the Bible a few times... and if you're going to damn 800 million Buddhists, then you don't know what you're talking about."

It was one of the better 17-hour flights I've had in a while. I was able to sleep and rest most of the way.

Peace be with you.

I once flew from West Germany to Philadelphia next to a young woman who was reading a rather thick book all about Wicca. It was a pleasnt and uneventful flight. Since I left my own damn reading material in my luggage, guess what I read for the hour-and-a-half that she slept with her head resting on my shoulder? As for the Satanism book- whatever floats your boat, know what i mean?

Probably I wouldn't even notice, and if I did, oh well big deal. They have their beliefs I have mine. I would probably just do what I was going to do any way. If the person was reading it out loud to the point I couldn't do what I was doing that might be annoying. I would have to give the person credit for reading for 5 hours straight about something they probably believed in.

Of course. There is no difference between that person and anyone else who isn't a Christian. What do you think, we only sit next to and associate with other Christians? Not true. I have lots of friends on here who are all different faiths and some Atheists. It's fun to share and hear about everyone's different beliefs.

Of course. As I've been reading on Y!A that Satantist don't actually worship Satan. I think it'd be a great discussion! I'd love to sit next to anyone with beliefs totally different than mine, it would be a good expereince!

I don't think I could sit next to them for 5 hours without saying something. I would probably whip out my own Bible (Christian Bible) and start reading.

And yes I do carry a Bible with me regularly.

I personally would pull out my Holy Bible and start reading from that for 5hrs. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

P.S. The only power that is use in any religion is the power and authority GOD gives each one of us, only the Christians are plugged into the motherload.

I am wondering if I get a Satanic Bible and take it on a plane with me if I could get my seat mate to leave and then I would have more room! Good idea!

That would be one of those Blessed times to KNOW you were put there as a help to them and pray for their soul, pray for interdiction on their behalf, pray for our Lord's angelic host to defeat all evil in that poor person's life, pray for that person's family and for those who may be influenced by them.
Mostly, pray for their deliverance and ask the Lord if there is anything you can/should say to the person
