to be perfect is not evil. It is to be like Jesus. Why do you all only want Jesus to be the perfect one. Is it because you can have a excuse to sin? I have searched God for a long time, I am certian he will perfect me in his rightousness one day here on earth, and soon. When he does I will sin no more. So from now at the age of 30, till 100 for 70 yrs I will never sin once. I will be a servent of rightousness. Hosea 10:12. Jesus did not come and die because you are cursed to sin, and it was the only way to save you. He died because you never searched for a way into heaven, and a way to walk perfect unto God. That way God could love you. You just stayed like rebellous children, never searching for your father and to learn his ways.

you may go to heaven with the blood, but you do so aragontly. For your soul should be going to hell. Learn to be JUST LIKE JESUS. Never teach people that it IS IMPOSSIBLE to become perfect like Jesus. You only say you have no faith in the impossible God.

death is not sin. God said to Adam and Eve, you will die, not you will sin. For we have the Knowlage of Good and evil, just like God. You just have to search God to understand good and evil. Romans 3:11. Says no one understands good.

I'm sorry, "GreatSeeker", but no man is good. We are all inherently evil. That is not an excuse for the flesh either, it is just a fact. We are all sinners. When Christ says " be ye perfect like your father in heaven", it is not that he expects it from us. He knows we cannot, but he said that because he wants to to continually strive for it, to pick up our cross and deny ourselves daily.
You said, " you may go to heaven with the blood, but you do so arrogantly ", is it arrogant to admit you need the blood of Christ, without it you're hopelessly lost, or is it arrogant to think others don't strive to be perfect in this life, but only you do, and on top of that you'll archive perfection in this life and will not sin anymore. Sorry, don't mean to sound this way, but which is really being prideful and arrogant?

There is no way to perfect in this life. If you were perfect in this life, you would be taken up to heaven without needing to die. Sorry to tell you this, but no matter how much you strive to be perfect, you will always have little sins that will mar that perfection. Repentance is the only way to be perfect. Not just repenting once, but continual repentance, throughout your whole life.

Living like Christ is a great thing, but we can't expect to be perfect in this life, unless we repent of EVERY sin we commit, even pride that you are prefect is a sin. Thinking you are perfect is a sin too, that makes it so you don't recognize even the small sins. So, no matter how much you try to be like Christ, there will always be times when you sin.

Maybe what you should do is leave civilization, go somewhere where there are no other people, and then maybe, just maybe, you won't sin, but I even doubt that.

Forgot to add that I do think we can become perfect, and like God and Christ. I just don't think it will be in this life.

Adam & Eve ;;w;ere created perfect, (Romans 5:12) 12 That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned—.

(Romans 5:19-20) 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were constituted sinners, likewise also through the obedience of the one [person] many will be
constituted righteous.
It was always God's purpose for the earth to be filled with perfect people , Perfect people do not die or get sick, Jesus paid the price for adams sin

in the KJ bible it calls Job perfect, but that is not so, the english used in that time might have used the term but no other bible translations do use it

Amen, we are to be perfect just as the Father is perfect!

If Jesus commanded us to be perfect, it must be possible.

Acknowledging imperfections and sin in ourselves or in the world is not to be an excuse to continue in evil (ew)! It is a means by which we can see where we are and perfect ourselves with God's help.

I have often been grieved in my spirit to hear that many people do not believe in the potential for becoming freed from sin, through our Lord's sacrifice. Why must a person continually be a slave to what they do not desire (sin) and not to righteousness? This does not have to be! Jesus cleansed all sin, now we are free from guilt and are free to know perfection if we so choose it.

Saying "no one is perfect" should be the observation we see about others... not an excuse for ourselves. But when a person looks to him or herself they should say: "I must examine myself... I want to become perfect!" This makes the unrighteous judging of others non-existant and the possibility of personal righteousness and closeness to God much greater.

Thank you for asking this question

You have very lofty ideas about life and your struggle to be perfect in Christ is admirable. However, you will not be perfect. You were born in a state of sin and unfortunately sin is a constant battle throughout life. Jesus died for our sins, it is us placing our love and trust in Him that makes us perfect. Without Jesus a person will stand alone before God and God will determine if that life is perfect. I personally prefer to have Jesus standing with me and saying He paid for my sins. This does not mean that I go live a rotten life. No, a sincere person of faith will strive to honour God by living a good life. God Bless you.

We are humans that are born with the sin nature because of Adam and Eve's disobedience. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Savior, God then, sees us and declaires us as perfect because the "Perfect One", Jesus, took our place for our sins and our sin nature. It is because of Jesus that we are made perfect, not anything that we have done ourselves.

Then it is our job to remain filled with the Holy Spirit that Jesus gave us to help us do what God wants.

It says in the bible that when we're in heaven we will be able to forget all of the bad things that happened or that we did. I think that's great because there are things I want to forget. So in a way we wouldn't sin anymore and we'd be full of love. But right now, how do you define perfect? Perfect is something with no flaws. Judgment and sin (which is a flaw) start when we are old enough to start realizing what is wrong and right. Even if you get mad at someone now and start avoiding them you can be punished. Jesus said to go and sin no more, so I agree we should try to live a godly life. But because we already sinned in the past, I don't think that makes us perfect.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information about Christian's belief that a man can not become perfect. Perhaps you should ask those that are saying this.

I, for one, do believe that we can become perfect - as we have been commanded to be (Matt. 5: 48) - through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

"Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God."

Hope this helps
