I offered this young lady that I have been dating for a couple of months $250.00 to get her car fix because she does not get paid for another two weeks, and now my boys are clowning me saying that I am sprung, and that no man offers or loans a young lady money unless he cares about her. I do care about about her, but I am not sprung or anything. So what would it mean for you if you offered to loan a young lady $250.00 to get her car fix? Also my sister said, I must be expecting something in return, but we have been dating for a while now, and the relationship is already sexual, so what could I be expecting in return because I don't want her to think that I am expecting something.

Personally I think you're reading WAY too much into what everyone else thinks!! Who cares if your "boys" say you're sprung. That's all they are BOYS. I think its wonderful that you care enough about her to offer her a loan like that! That's how you build strong, secure relationships. Give and take. You learn to trust and rely on each other. It's a great thing. Don't let anybody make you think otherwise. I'd say they're a little jealous because clearly you've found happiness...maybe they haven't.

To me it just means that you are a nice guy and you care enough about her to trust her wtih $250. If you didn't really care about her it's a very risky move since if something bad were to happen to your relationship with her in the next two weeks (assuming you get the money back them) you could be cheated out of your $250.

if you were not in a relationship then yes, i would think you wanted something in return but you have stated the opposite, so i think you care about her and that's that. your boys are jealous of ur relationship and want to piss you off. dont let it. you sound like a good guy and if they wouldnt do the same, they're jerks.

How about this: Form your own opinion about your own life and choices. Let it mean for you whatever it means for you. It sounds like you have that part figured out.
Here's the part you don't seem to understand: Don't let me, Yahoo Answers, your sister, or your boys think for you. It's not their $250, it's yours. You can do with it whatever you please.
Let people think whatever they want to think; they do it so rarely anyway... ;-)

see if she can give you 50 bucks a week. this is - shoukld be based on trust..and she should pay you back...men are stupid sometimes...it always got to be about sex. tell them to grow up.
