i am doing a presentation on Belfast as i love the place, if anyone has interesting facts, stories or anyting else that i can capture my audenice.

ok..so - you have to watch the film Angela's Ashes...its a very true account of what life was like years ago in Belfast.
my mum was born & raised in N.Ireland,,she was born in 1937...the poverty was dreadful..and some days - they didnt have food.
& just like the film..the children would go to the railway station & hope that coal would fall from the trains - so that they could collect it up & take it home & have a fire in their homes to keep warm...oh boy - these people really did have a tough time.
p.s. interesting fact i think...fabulous footballer - George Best - was born & raised there...he was a legend!

Belfast is the smallest capital city in the Uk! If you don't count the whole of Ireland otherwise it would be Dublin. Allow the Belfast Shipping industry has nearly completely closed, Belfast still loves to celebrates it's Shipping heritage for example the tall ships festival that will arrive in just under two weeks time! Belfast is the home to the largest peace wall in Europe! It is one of the few cities in Europe to offer a tour round and old Geil! Belfast is considered the second best place to hold a concert after London! Can't remember anything else but I hope I helped! =)
