its my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend on saturday and its quite special to me, but im pretty sure he doesnt remember seeing as how hes helping plan his friends birthday party at this house that day... which upsets me and i know alot of guys dont find it important and what not, but i do. how i find out if he remembers or not without dropping it to him that hes forgotten about it?

I have a suggestion, wait till Saturday comes, and once its clear that he has forgotten, then bring it up. How do you know for sure that he doesn't have something planned for you?

If after a year you can't talk to him and say "hey, do you want to celebrate our anniversary the next night since it's your friend's birthday?" Then why are you with him? He can't read your mind, nor are most guys able to keep up with that kind of nit picking stuff. You have to remind him or you can go sit at home and pout that he doesn't care about you, when it's obvious he does if he's stuck around for a year.

Talk to him. How in the world is he supposed to know how important this is for you if you don't have a conversation? In successful relationships, people TALK to each other and discuss expectations, needs and wants...then compromise where there are differences. No room for assumptions...people aren't mind readers.

I`ve been married for over a year now and you know what i realized?Man are man,if you want something from them you have to ask and tell them.Only us,women, have the ability to feel,so if you want something from him simply ask for it and explain how important is for you.I am sure you want a bf and not a gf:))

Just ask him to reasure. Or if he has a myspace, he should put your anniversary date on it. I carved it on my brain :)

go to one of his friends and tell one of his friends to remind ur boyfriend, but make sure ur boy doesnt know u told his friend to remind u
