FORGET "HEY THERE DELILAH".
Try "Baby I'm Home" by Trace Adkins, I'm not even a big country fan and I love this song. Whenever I was in the Navy I'd listen to this song, waiting to see my loved ones again.

It's a pretty song, and an especially nice line is, "Miles and miles of empty space in-between us; a telephone can't take the place of your smile."
