My whole family loves NASCAR, but I don't think I'll be following it as much; because I really don't care for Jeff Gordon. It is going to be sort of sad to see Jr on his team. And yes, we are all Christians.
I think the reason so many Christians enjoy this sport, is because NASCAR actually expects the drivers and their crews to behave themself. They are held accountable for their words and actions.

Usually. Not always. Most NASCAR fans are in the south and most southerns are Christians. Therefore they are USUALLY one in the same.

No. I am an atheist and I enjoy NASCAR as does my atheist father. Now my christian in-laws, they hate NASCAR.

Theist here-obviously. For the record, I hate and despise Nascar racing, country music, - that whole mind-set is a sociologist's wet dream.
As the bumper sticker reads- "Discourage incest-Ban country music". That whole "mother trucker" thing just needs to die out, and quickly.
