By 'controlled', I mean was it actually IMPOSSIBLE for Jesus to sin if he was being controlled by God the Father when he was living down here on Earth.

Yes he had free will, and he exercised it perfectly in order to please his Father. If there was any control at work, it was that of love.

Jesus said, 'The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life - only to take it up again. No-one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father... I give [my sheep] eternal life, and they shall never perish, no-one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no-one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.' (John 10:14-30)

Contemplate this immense symmetry and synergy at work between the Father and the Son, with the Holy Spirit the link between heaven and earth, and maybe you'll stop asking questions and just get down to a serious bit of worship.

Well, of course He did! He walked this earth and among men in the world system NOT as a supernatural God. He did ALL he did under the blessings of Abraham and, after His baptism by John in Jordan, as a man filled with the Holy Ghost. Read the Gospel of John, then Philippians 2: 5- 11. The accounts of Him in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest when He wrestled with facing what He had come here to do should convince anyone! Also, IF He wasn't a man with a mission, how could He be MY substitute payment for sin.., or for ALL men? He was the Lamb of God, without spot, wrinkle or blemish to BE sacrificed, and was, before coming in the flesh to complete Father God's plan, the Word. That is why He is referred to as the "word made flesh and dwelt among us". The only time Jesus moved as a "glorified" man, as supernaturally endowed was AFTER His resurrection from the grave and before the ascension.., walking thru walls, appearing and disappearing at will. He told Philip to touch Him and put his hand in His side saying, "no spirit has flesh and bones as He did".., His blood had been drained and put on the mercy seat in heaven.
He was part of the action of "choosing US in Himself before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before Him (that means in Greek: 'in his face' or 'face to face') in love. (Eph.1: 4-5) Now seems to me that He and Father Jehovah God made a plan and had an agreement BEFORE the foundation of the world and then Jesus "walked it out in Earth time at the right timing in our history" during this Earth lease that Adam surrendered to satan. Yep, He DID what He did from being "love" embodied, but could have chosen to NOT do it at any minute of the process or why would He have suffered through the agony in the Garden? What a plan! What a Savior and Champion! Let's sing: "O How I Love Jesus"... The scriptures also tell us He WAS tempted by satan (Matthew 4:). If He had been in the world AS God, what would be the temptation? "The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof". (Psalm 24:1) "I lay down my life" John 10: 15-17. Total free will as any man in this Earth!

Jesus had free will. He could do anything he wanted but he submited his will to the will of the Father even to the point of death. Not only does this allow for the covering of sins, but also gives us an example of how we should act towards the father.

Jesus had free will. He was very in tune with God's plan for His life, and understood God the father better than anyone. But every step He took, was by choice. He was tempted along his path many times including an extended time in the wilderness, and always had the option of choosing against His destiny, but never did. His "free will" is a vital element of who He was, if he was a puppet, what would it have taught us as humans?

Jesus had free will and without sin He walked it out. Jesus kept his eyes on the Father God. That is a lesson for us to keep our eyes on Jesus.

The correct answer would require much more study than can be gone into here... but the end result would be that... Yes... That of Jesus The Christ that was fully man did indeed have feewill.

Christ Jesus was both Fully God and fully man. For those not of The Church that is a concept that is difficult to grasp... but The man Jesus was just as tempted by the world as any man... he could have succumbed... but he did not.

Monothelitism was a Christological heresy which asserted that Jesus Christ had only one will, which was divine. This heresy was rejected. Christ had both a divine and a human will, as he had both a divine and a human nature. The communion of these wills in concord with one another is one of the great revelations of the Incarnation of God in Christ.

As far as whether the human will of Christ was "free"-- modernity often conceives of "free" will as an absolute, which is, of course, an illusion. The human nature of Christ was possessed of a freedom of a human will that was contingent and mitigated by the constraints of finitude. This is one of the great mysteries of the Incarnation, an example of the "kenosis" of the humility of Christ, who is willing to accept the limitations of a human nature in order that humanity might share in the divine life, a mystery that is termed the "admirable commercium"-- the marvelous exchange.

No he didn't!
It says in the "Bible" that the night before he was going to die he prayed to god saying he didn't want to do this and God being the strict Dad that he was said tough while you living on My Earth you live by my rules!
He was sent for a reason and had to follow the path set out for him!

Jesus had free will. Before He was betrayed, he prayed to God the Father for His will to be done.

Matthew 26:39 -- Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."

I think thats wrong Jesus wasn't around when the God father was made.

I'm guessing for the sake of the argument he had free will ...
