You know, if you're believing in an omnipotent God, you shouldn't have to do anything. Is your God incapable of standing up for himself? Doesn't that strike you as a bit of a warning sign?

You cannot prove the existence of God. There is no point in trying. Instead, tell your friend what changes you have seen in your life, or how God has helped you, or how you've seen some other people change as a result of belief in God. You can present your views about why you believe in God but that will never constitute proof to a person who really does not believe. They will only believe when God affects them personally.

First of all, you can't save him. Only God can do this. All we can do is to try to present the truth in such a way that people can understand it and do what we can do to break down the barriers keeping them from believing.

Perhaps you should find out why he doesn't believe in God? Perhaps he has an agnostic view and doesn't believe for lack of evidence. Maybe there is something else that keeps him from believing, such as the problem of pain. Perhaps the problem is that he doesn't realy understand what we mean by God. Find out why and you will have a place to start.

Try it scientifically. Research the options, what are the indications that God exists, what are the arguments that he doesn't, which is more sound? What is the actual, hard evidence for God existing or validation of the Bible. Then design a series of experiments that will proof the existence of God. Conduct the experiments analyze your results and refine your experiments and eliminate the variables, draw conclusions from the data that you've obtained.

Realize that you have just come up with the fact that God doesn't exist and that your friend is fine the way he is.

You can't prove that God exists. One is either a believer or not. If he's not just let him be. You don't need to save him.......

How the hell did you prove it to yourself is what I'd like to know?...or was it some sly other person that convinced you.

"If god is invisible, intangible, exists outside of time and space, and has no measurable or reproducible effect on the material world, what exactly does it mean to say "God exists"; and how does a universe with such an ineffectual god differ from one with no god at all?" Carl Sagan

You can't. If it were possible to prove that God existed, there wouldn't be ten of thousands of religions and denominations arguing over what he/she/it is and wants.
