Have her spayed. Spaying reduces her risk for many cancers. There are plenty of Chihuahuas in shelters. Did you know, on petfinder.org alone, there are over 4,000 homeless Chihuahuas in shelters?
Her heat will last 3 weeks, and breeding her on her first heat will create problems. She'd probably end up needing a c-section, and are you prepared to spend a good $1,200-$2,000 for a c-section, that if she didn't have, she and her pups would die?
Also, you then have to worry about if she doesn't feed her pups. You'd be up every 2-3 hours a day for several weeks, having to dropper-feed puppies to keep them alive.
Have your dog spayed. It's a fraction of the cost of that c-section, and the shots/de-worming you'd have to pay for those puppies to have.

Don't breed her if you don't even know about a dogs heat cycle. The worst thing you could do is breed her during her first heat, she is not full grown yet and being a small dog already you will only be setting yourself up for a huge vet bill for her emergency c section. You should however spay her before she has another one. With each heat her chances of getting mammary cancer increase so spay her now. Also a unspayed female is susceptible to a pyometra, where the uterus becomes severely infected, and the only way to treat it is to have an emergency spay done, except it wont cost about $200 anymore it'll be closer to $1500. If you want another dog consider going to the shelter.

The first heat is never the one that you should breed her in. She is still growing especially in there...
I had a female chihuahua and I made her wait her first heat.
I had to seperate her from my male but the next heat she did get some and had six puppies with no complications.
Good Luck
oh and about the spraying thats in cats I think and in Male dogs. My boy only sprayed when he was marking territory

Spay her please. There are millions of dogs that are homeless and are killed each year. If you spay her, she will not be able to have puppies, and she will not get any more periods!
Research the humane society in your area, and ask if they have any Spay/Neuter certificates. If you use one of thier vets, you can get a significant discount on cost.
the periods last for a week or so i think

If you get her spayed she will never get uterine or ovary cancer and you will greatly reduce the risk of breast cancer. With having her first heat you have already increase her risk of mammary cancer so get it done as soon as she is done!!
