If you had to get a pet bird, what breed would you prefer?

well i do have a pet bird and there called quakerbirds they talk and they are small

You shouldn't HAVE to get a pet bird. If I ever would want to add to my flock(which I do plan on doing eventually) I would love a cherry headed conure. Sweet, cuddly, some even have talking ability. The large parrot package in a not so large parrot, though they are alrge for a conure. You never have to get any pet, you should want to to find the right pet for your lifestyle. But if I couldn't find one of those I would want a mitred. Very similar. :)

I already have three pet birds already, a budgie and two chickens. I don't know how many people would call chickens pets, but these two species are usually pleasant and enjoyable.

I'd prefer a parakeet/finch/dove/penguin/geese. My mother owned a cockatiel before and it was mean and noisey. She also owned a parakeet which wasn't as loud and more social. My aunt owned a finch and they are nice but are a little harder to handle due to size and they are fast. The penguins and doves are pretty to some people and seem pretty friendly. I currently own some geese/ducks/and chickens and I love the geese. I personally hand raised them so they are very bonded to me.

It may sound weird to most people, but I absolutely love my rabbit. I've had rabbits for 18 years and have always been obsessed since a week after I got my first rabbit. My second favorite is a horse.

Well I'm biased because I own one, but certainly a rainbow lorikeet! :D
It took me 6 years to get him and I'm so glad I now have him.
If I were to get a new bird, my two dream birds are a Blue and Gold Macaw and a male Eclectus.

Black headed caique. Real fun birds if you don't mind a little noise. Sun conures are beautiful but very loud. Double yellow head amazons are neat also.

Cockatiel! I have one right now, and she is such a great bird.
Ive also had a Blue Crowned Conure in the past..WAY TOO LOUD!

my favorite breed of bird is an african grey. i have 2 of them. they are really great birds
