I assume you mean entering into a group of people who constitute the church, because the building is just the meeting place of the church, it is not the church.
No, I don't feel embarrassed at all. I feel right at home.

I feel joyous when I enter church. I feel such a rush of love and acceptance, I cant help but feel much better than I did before I entered the doors. I can actually start to feel this before I get to the doors, because there are greeters outside to welcome me. There's no amount of money that could buy that feeling.

Sometimes, yes. Especially when I see all the homeless and hungry families on the sidewalks and streets and nothing is being done by the church or our elected government (that espouses Christian Family Values). Shame.

No, course not. I've been overwhelmed by the architecture of cathedrals in France, for example. Why wouldn't I be? Why shouldn't I be. The demonizing of atheists is simply that--witless demonizing.

Not embarrassed. Just very uncomfortable. Churches feel heavy, dark, and kind of sinister to me.

sometimes cause in some churches the church members look at you like you dont belong there
or if you are dressed a certain way, they look at you like you dont belong.
that's messed up cause god doesnt see skin color or clothes...
