Why would you want to get into something you know nothing about?
Ok your a liberal; wht does that haveto do with NASCAR?

It's the pinnacle of competition in stock car racing. The best way to get into it, is just watch a race. Following the championships and rules is kind of pointless, as NASCAR acts like a dictatorship and can be very arbitrary in its decisions and rulings.
It's fun to watch. I enjoy it. I'm probably one of the weirdos out there that enjoy the competition aspect of the sport. Whereas a lot of rednecks just want to see wrecks. I don't like to see wrecks. Number one, there is a human being in the car and number two it interferes with the racing. As Darrell Waltrip (3 time champ and now Fox Sports commentator) said, "wreckin' ain't racin'"

you watch a bunch of really odd looking cars drive around in a circle for more than 100 laps......then they determine a winner. and they always go to the left. I think it is rather silly.
