No...our church bought out an old department store that was falling apart...renovated it...its right there on a small town main street.
What we did do, was cut away some of the plaster on the wall, all the way down to the original 90 year old brick, and cut it in the shape of the cross....very spiritual.

We have stained glass windows made in a South German(Barvarian) factorium around 1900. When the early morning sun shines through the sunrise scene on the Resurrection window, the effect is stunning and the same is true of the Baptism of Jesus Window when the late afternoon sun shines through the water it seems to ripple.
We also have "Tiffany -style"stained glass and painted glass from about 1887.

The world is my church, I don't need a particular building to be close to God. with that being said, I do like the architecture of the traditional Churches with the exquisite mason work and tall stained glass windows.

My church is held in the auditorium of a school. So, no, but I'm hoping there will be when we build the building. I love stained glass- the colors, the stories and the beauty! I've been to the Naval Academy at Annapolis and it was amazing! God blesses some people with such talent!

I attend a synagogue, rather than a church; we do have a few stained glass decorations, although they are actually within the sanctuary. I've seen very nice ones on many synagogues and churches, and of course some are rightfully considered to be great works of art.

no, which is surprising since I attend a Catholic Church. It is more of a modern church building, built in the 1970s.

Ah! An easy question . . . no stained glass as we meet in a multi-purpose room. We have a basketball hoop tho.
