Yes. The end of the world is coming. We only have a few millions of years before the Sun expands to the size of a red giant star and engulfs the Earth.

Nope.
World has been here for 4.5 billion years, and it will be here for about another 5 billion.
Me personally- I can pretty well guarantee that the world will end for me sometime in the next 60 or 70 years. Maybe sooner.
I disagree. Most people I know are kind, honest, compassionate, hard working and caring. Sure, there's some pretty nasty stuff that goes on in the world today- but compare it to how ugly things were in eons past, and frankly - I think we're a lot more human today than we were 1000 years ago.

The Bible says that the earth will never be destroyed; what will end is the evil system that currently governs us all.
The world has been in the last days since Jesus was crucified. However, we are currently in the "latter days," i.e. the years immediately preceding the return of Jesus Christ. Prophetically, the next event that is due for fulfillment is the Ezekiel 38 and 39 invasion of Israel by Russia, Iran and other Muslim nations. God states in Eze. 39 (NKJV) that He will kill ALL of these invaders. This will cripple radical Islam and throw the world into turmoil -- which will open the door for the Antichrist to propose a plan of peace. Once the treaty he negotiates is signed, the Tribulation will begin (Daniel 9:27).
Honestly -- if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. It may be too late tomorrow.

No. Groups of people have always thought the end of the world was near because of all the bad things happening. They never realize that the world has always been so messed up.

The world headed towards it's end the moment it formed.
Of course the world is headed for it's end. The sun will eventually uses up a majority of it's available hydrogen and will swell into a red giant swallowing thee earth. Any 6th grader could tell you that.

well, i agree with some that say we are at the end of the beginning of the end...but, its not for us to try and figure out... what good will it do us to knwo? JESUS says to always be ready, as if he may come tomorrow... just because we havnt seen the 7 yr tibulation, doesnt mean he wont come before that.... i think he will come and get his people before the tribulation so we dont have to endure it....and it actually does say that the earth will be destroyed... it says it will be destroyed by fire, then he will make a new earth....it doesnt say a new earth system.

I hope this is not a joke.
But yes, the end of the system of things(not the world itself) is coming.

Zephaniah 1:14 14 “The great day of Jehovah is near. It is near, and there is a hurrying [of it] very much. The sound of the day of Jehovah is bitter. There a mighty man is letting out a cry.
Thas is why Jehovah Witnesses today are preaching, but nobody wants to listen. Wish you the best...
yeah thats right! give me thumbs down for saying the truth!

The world has always been bad and crazy I think because we now have so much world news it seems worse, years ago we didn't know news like we do today.
The Mayan calender says the world is going to end in 2011,
I am not sure why they think it will end then.

humans are naturally the instruments of thier own destruction, and always have been, the world has always been coming to an end, it is just a question of when, the viral nature of our humanity ensures this. but for some reason we find the means to keep living, don't get too down.

We've always done bad things. If what you're asking is true then we've been at the beginning of the end since the beginning of time.
