I haven't changed my mind about my own personal religious or spiritual beliefs, my hat is off to the Pastafarians though.
There's a lot of bickering and name calling, but in between its a sort of interesting approach to hear about people's approach to the subject. I sort of see it as mass, free-for-all, open-ended survey.
In the same way that those on the street corner who yell that all unbelievers will burn after death isn't great PR, I haven't been persuaded by any of the arguments here.

No--there have been some that have truly shown their ignorance as to what Christianity really is. And those that are professed atheist are just as bad--as least the ones that I have read. People on both sides that have answered the questions claim to be intelligent but revert to name calling or insinuations. Their comments are lame and they show no proof of their statements--especially when they make claims that they say are true. And most need to use spell check and take English again to learn sentence structure

No, My belief, works for me.
What surprised me was the amount of radicals, and self
rightious people on R&S, and some repeated foolish Q, from
different sides, and be low the belt name calling that is unecessary, to share a point. Too much anger.

My beliefs haven't changed, but I've learned a lot and have read some books that were recommended that really were eye-openers.

I have realized how rampant ignorance is. If cynicism is what you've got then you are wasting your time here. If you are honest truth seeker it could be rewarding.
Changing minds is not easy. Each one of us is a free thinker. God Himself has granted us that freedom. But even in a free country if you misuse your freedom you will not be free for long, that's for sure, because the country cannot afford to jeopardize its citizens. God's kingdom is similar but in a larger space and time frame so it's easy to, kind of, lose track of where you are.

Absolutely. I believe stronger every day that God exists. Just seeing some of the ridiculous attempts by the atheists, is proof to me that they wouldnt be so adamant about God not existing, if there wasnt proof positive that God indeed does exist. I want to thank all of the atheists on here. This, by the way, isnt based on an organized religion kind of belief. I dont belong to an organized religion. I just believe in God.

I just despair at the number of religious individuals who believe that the correct way to help people they consider to be sinners is to shout at them, to belittle them, to make racist or homophobic comments to them.
It's entirely possible to disagree with someone without being abusive, and sadly most people on Yahoo Answers are either too immature or too bigoted to see that.
Intolerance is alive and well, and lives in the Religion and Spirituality section of Yahoo Answers. This is sad.

My opinion of Christians in general has deteriorated through the weight of evidence.
I fully understand that not all Christians espouse the views put forward by their brethren here. But I have seen only a few actively challenge them on their hate.

It made me see what people do when they are annonymous. It didnt change anything i used to believe, it just made it more clear that people are so easy to manipulate, and when their beliefs get very strong they seem even more frustrated and wishing to kick everyone who doesn't share them
