Okay she already has an appointment to go in but just trying to see if anyone has any ideas.
She is a 16 month old beagle who is up to date on all shots and vaccines, and has been altered.
She has lost her appetite, to the point where she barely eats (she has always eaten very little but it is different now). She also has ocassional vomitting. She will throw up what ever she has eaten, but it is not every time or everyday. She has vomited about 4 times in five days, only once twice in one day. She has been licking at the floor and drinking alot too. I am not sure why she is licking the floor, it is kept clean and she never did it before.
She is still just as energetic and her personality is not at all affected by it. There is no diarreah either.
If you have any ideas please let me know. Again I am not looking for a diagnosis just some thoughts before her appointment.

Please no more dumb answers. All I want is someone to give me a couple of ideas to be able to discuss with the vet when we go in this afternoon. Not some dumb person to say uh yep she is sick. I figured that part on my own.
Sorry but people who give stupid responses to serious questions make me mad.

I'm glad that you posted this question. Naturally, anything could be wrong! Eek! My first guess is that it's the food (after all we've seen in the media about pet foods!). My second guess would be that she is showing symptoms of Diabetes. I would take a sample of the dog food with me to the vet (including the name of the product and the expiry date etc...), I would bring a stool sample as well. Write down exactly what she is doing so you can give the vet a time line of when she got started getting sick.

My guess is that she swallowed something and now it's stuck in her belly, causing a bunch of problems. A lot of dogs her age still do things like eat things made of leather, cloth, etc. and then it gets stuck in their tummies and every time they try to eat, they just throw it back up again. Your vet will probably give her a stomach X-ray to look for foreign objects, and if that is the problem, she may require surgery to get it out.

Really you should not sit online asking people what it could be, you will get a million different answers that will only worry you and it may turn out to be none of them. Be patient and wait for your vet appointment and see what the dr. says. This is truly the best way to not make yourself nuts.

Most of us missed the fact that you already have an appointment with the vet.
. Is her appointment today? write down all of this so that you remember to tell the vet every detail.
I can tell you this is not good. She might even have an infection of some kind. Perhaps bladder or kidney. Good luck, give her a hug.

my mind thinks of so many possibilitys.. but before scaring you , just be patient and observe all behavior, and like the other person said, write everything down so you dont forget when you are there.. from type of symptoms and when it happened...
as for possibilitys,, poisen/ toxin...... parvo virus... blockage from ingesting something too big or non food item...any other sickness. diet, onset of food allergies...
see so many things, but just go to vet to be sure..
good luck...
